This is the 500 leather-mesh hiking shoe — a thin, low-cut outdoor trainer, not a mid boot and not a creek sandal. Genuine leather overlays sit over honeycomb mesh so the upper ventilates. Cut-out windows on the quarter let air through without leaving the foot open. A heel pull sits at the collar. Round laces run through metal eyelets.
The sole is a wavy, cushioned midsole over a deep-lug rubber outsole. It is a lightweight hike-and-town last, not the bumper work shoe and not the fleece winter mid.
