This is a lightweight hard-shell jacket for hiking, travel, and all-weather commuting — not a puffy. The face fabric sheds rain; the stitch lines are heat-taped so water does not wick through the seams.
The cut is athletic with room to layer a fleece. You get an adjustable hood, a full-length front zip, zip chest and sleeve pockets, velcro cuffs, and a hem drawcord. Upper-arm velcro panels take morale or ID patches.
